About Faido Relief Organization

Faido Relief Organization (FRO) is a local Ethiopian civil society organization headquartered in Jigjiga, Somali Regional State. Established in accordance with Ethiopia’s Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2011, the organization is committed to improving the well-being of vulnerable communities through sustainable development and humanitarian initiatives.

The name “Faido” is derived from the Somali language and refers to the collective benefit achieved through unity, cooperation, and mutual support. This value guides the organization’s work and relationship with the communities it serves.
